João Moutinho renews with Sporting de Braga until 2026

Portuguese international João Moutinho has renewed his contract with Sporting de Braga for another season, until 2025/26, the Minho club, fourth in the I Liga football league, announced today.
The second player with the most AA caps for Portugal (146), only behind national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo, the midfielder trained at Sporting and who also played for FC Porto, the Monegasque team Monaco and the English team Wolverhampton, will thus start his third season with the team from Braga.
The experienced 38-year-old midfielder, European champion with Portugal in 2016, has played more than 1,000 games in his career, 80 of which – and five goals – were scored for Sporting de Braga, who already consider him “a reference” for the club.
