A goal by Spanish forward Cristina Martín-Prieto, in the 24th minute, put the 'encarnadas', who were defending the title and chasing their third trophy, in the lead, but the Torres Vedras team managed to equalize in the last moments of regular time through Janaina Weimer, in the 90+6th minute, forcing the game to go into extra time, in which Salomé Prat, in the 120th minute, sealed the result.

With this triumph, Torreense reaches its first major trophy, while Benfica has two cups, in a list led by 1º de Dezembro, with seven.
