Marquês de Pombal is starting to take shape: live broadcast of the party

The bus has stopped behind the erected structure and, within moments, the players will take center stage.

The bus moves along at a good pace and Marquês is right there in front. The thousands of fans have been waiting for a long time, but the enthusiasm is still high.

The incredible atmosphere as you pass through Saldanha
Frederico Varandas enjoys the Portuguese party

The Leonine bus passes through Entrecampos.

At Marquês, it's time for the Supporters to cheer on the thousands of fans. The bus is about 3 kilometers away, but it should still take more than an hour to get there.

The journey is taking place at a very slow pace towards Marquês. It is time to greet the countless fans who are on the streets to welcome the new champions.

The bus carrying the Sporting squad has now left Alvalade towards Marquês de Pombal.

It shouldn't be long before the Sporting team leaves Alvalade by bus, where thousands are still waiting, heading to Marquês de Pombal, which already has a veritable sea of green.

Balakov celebrates second championship: «Congratulations to all Sporting fans»
Tiago Sousa Dias

The foreign sports press 'surrendered' to Sporting, who today were crowned two-time Portuguese football champions, and to their top scorer Viktor Gyökeres, with the Spanish AS even talking about a "Sporting era".

Read all about it here .

Final moment of the press conference with Paulinho and Rui Borges. The wardrobe manager appeared in the room in the middle of the conference

Rui Borges jokes with Paulinho at the end of the conference

Rui Borges leaves the press conference room... and the coach didn't even get his usual shower. We'll now wait a few minutes for the delegation to head to Marquês. In theory, according to the forecasts, within an hour.

Are there any players who have impressed you internally?

"The star of this group is the team, it's everyone. Nuno Santos, from outside, has been extraordinary. I've been arguing with him since I got here. 'Now that I'm here, can't I count on you?'. Ranhoso... João Simões... Morita... I'm highlighting the guys who haven't played for physical reasons. I've already highlighted Esgaio because I think he's been really important. But then it's the spirit. And I'm really sincere. This is football. Players and coaches come and go, and there are always different ways to win. The team will adapt if Viktor really does leave, especially because he has a contract. We'll find another solution and we'll win in a different way. But we'll win anyway. That's why, maybe, we'll be two-time champions. I always believe that. The star is the team. Oh, and Paulinho is missing, the best assistant in the world."

How do you replace a player who will go down in the history of Portuguese football? Was the key to the title the appeal he made when he arrived?

"May we never lack attitude. And we never lacked that. And I thank the fans, who stuck to that. For better or worse, we never lacked attitude. Zero defeats. We lost the League Cup on penalties, and the Champions League. But in the league, zero defeats. Better attack and defence. I couldn't be more proud of my team. Sometimes we played better, other times not so well. But football is getting more intense and for those who compete more. And we were always very competitive. Did we always win? No, but no coach has always won that. I couldn't ask for more from this group. And I'm not saying this because I was a two-time champion. And I'll even quote what Bruno Lage said at the end of the derby: 'Trophies don't define the coach'. This group was born to win in life and give a lot of joy."

How many kilos are off your back today?

"Forget about it. I've enjoyed the whole journey. The only week I've been most anxious was this one, and I said that yesterday in the preview. I wanted this to happen quickly because it's hard in that sense. Otherwise, I've enjoyed the journey. I really believe that I was born to succeed in life, and that's what winning in life is all about. Looking at my family and them looking at me with affection. I come from a family with a lot of love and respect and we value everything. For me, the greatest trophy is this recognition and pride that my family has. My technical team deserves all the recognition. I'll say Zé Pedro's name, an analyst, who knew little or nothing about football, started out taking cones. He asked to do an internship and today he's my analyst because he trained in it, he went looking for it and he's a great image of the technical team. Fernando, who's my number two. They've been with me since day one. He's the best assistant in the world. To Tiago, Ricardo, Neto, the technical team. To Tecelão, Gonçalo, Pedro... I have no words to thank them. everything they put up with sometimes. They take it from the coach. And for everything they give to the coach... They make him grow and be better day by day."

There are players who, on the pitch, said they were 'dead'. Does this second championship already make the season perfect? Or is the Cup still missing? You spoke a lot about the doubts that arose throughout the season, at a certain point it was thought that Benfica were the favourites. Did you use that to motivate the players?

"I didn't need to talk about it many times, I only spoke at the end of the League Cup game. They are special and believe a lot. They knew that the path was set and that it was up to us. I stressed it at that moment because I felt I had to say it. But I didn't have to worry too much, the spirit that exists at Sporting is different. It's a different club. It's a very different family spirit. Perfect season? For now, we're enjoying our second championship. We deserve it and the road has been long and difficult. After the break, we'll think about the Cup. They deserve to breathe. Zeno was 'dead', that's part of it. Pote... 5 minutes before the goal, someone was saying 'get Pote out!'. What a shame, he scored the goal. Pote is different. I told him that he was the one who would decide the game, that he would be important in the championship. Tactically, he's impressive. He doesn't have the confidence and rhythm that he wants, but then he runs for himself and for the others. That's what makes him different."

Was your biggest solution this season moving Debast into midfield?

"It was easy because he is a kid full of qualities, he likes to learn. He still ran miles today. Sometimes he wasn't so good tactically, but he managed to cover up some things. It was important because, from a certain point on, we were left without midfielders. And he was very important in that sense to have some balance until the end of the season. But not only him. I will always praise the group. He is a special kid and he will have a bright future as a midfielder or centre-back."

What conversation did you have with the squad when you arrived at Sporting?

"To be honest, I was normal. I went in with my everyday joy, with my happiness in coaching Sporting. With my ambition and pride in each one of them. As a coach of another team, I looked at them and saw a lot of individual and collective quality. And it was just a matter of making them believe that they were very good, different and special. And they are, very special. That's why my gratitude to them will be eternal. We were just Rui Borges' coaching team. What I was as Mirandela's coach, I am now. My way of dealing with people is exactly the same, my values, believing, feeling that each one is important. And there were very important players. I already mentioned Esgaio, who hasn't played much but was very important for everything he gives every day, forcing his teammates to give every day. Sometimes we don't value these guys. And maybe they are the group's added value. And they believed. And the fans also helped them believe that we could win. If they were national champions it's because they were valuable. A large part of the team The group comes from last season, it was just a matter of following and believing in everyone's desire, to win. Football is not just about playing beautifully, it's not just about being the best at communicating. You talked a lot about my communication, but you even did me a favor. You turned the focus onto me and took it away from the players. I'm a bad communicator at some point, it's part of it. But it was very important to take that focus away in the last 15 days. They were calm for the game at Luz. Today, the anxiety is different. It was just me and they believed."

"I don't know how to explain it. There was so much celebration, but he was there jumping and it shouldn't be anything serious. I hope we can get him back for the Cup final."

What was the hardest moment for you as Sporting's coach? And when was the moment when you felt that the second championship was unlikely to slip away?

"There wasn't a tough phase. I've already told you that I'm very positive. I believed from day one that we would be capable of becoming champions. We worked hard for it, we overcame the setbacks. I like to hear your side. Zeno was a bad midfielder, now he's a great midfielder. We finished games with Brito and Edu... And you said that Sporting had to be champions. The kids deserve it too. And I also want to congratulate the B team. I'm very happy that they managed to return to the 2nd Division. They deserve everything for everything they were able to do, for helping the A team when we needed it. For better or worse, they responded. The best moment was signing for Sporting, there's no greater happiness than that. I said, in the League Cup, that I really believed in it. Maybe I take after my mother in that sense, I'm very positive. I said that something better was in store for us. And it was. They worked harder than anyone. Better defense, better attack... These guys deserve to stay. marked in the history of Sporting. They will never be forgotten and that is football. Memories, memories. And we will all remain. In 70 years, they will remember that, after 70 years, the boys had Viktor Gyökeres and a young boy from Mirandela called Rui Borges, as well as other players who were able to be two-time champions".

Paulinho recently said he had some good news for Sporting fans. Can Gyökeres continue? Can he make Viktor's mask? Will he call Ruben Amorim?

"I can't wear a mask... Ruben and João are two-time champions too, which makes me proud. Maybe João went through a difficult phase and things were unfair, but he certainly has a bright future. I really admire Ruben, he's an example for all of us coaches to follow. I think he'd like to be here celebrating with us. Regarding Paulinho's statements, Viktor has a contract. I'm not going to say whether he's going to leave or not, but he's a Sporting player. I believe he's the best forward in Europe, maybe in the world, and I'm happy and rooting for him to win the Golden Boot. For everything he works hard for every day, for wanting to make a contribution despite his physical difficulties. I'm happy in that respect. The future will soon be seen. We still have a trophy to win and today we can enjoy our second championship. They deserve it, and they deserve it. The future, my friends? Forget it. These four months felt like four years... Let me win, enjoy it and breathe a little."

Quaresma leaves a message for Amorim: «You are a champion. I wish you were here, but now we have someone else»

Statements to SportTV

"It's been a great adventure. It was almost a year of complete learning in everything. Sporting ended up, at the time of an important departure, thinking that I could help. And I came with that in mind, with a missionary spirit. The outcome of this championship is a great relief because I end up feeling that it was a mission accomplished."

Are there missions you can't say no to?

"Yes, although I had a difficult time deciding whether to play or not. When Sporting called... I thought about it a lot, but it's hard to say no at a challenging time for everyone. Being able to help everyone in my own way. The connection I had with the players, with the whole structure that I knew very well... I think that benefited me in many moments and, fortunately, we managed to win the championship."

Mark left by Ruben Amorim... How can we turn this around?

"I believe it was a process for everyone. It wasn't easy at all, it took a long time with one way of leading, working. But the group is very strong, it knew how to reinvent itself, to suffer. Many times we may have been suspicious, but I believe that, in the final stretch, those who hadn't yet been champions and those who had managed to take the path of 'let's go all out for each game'. It ends up doing justice to the great group that was created, to the great quality on a human level. I think everyone deserves it, them in particular. With the whole process, they ended up suffering, taking time to get back to normal. But we got there in time..."

There have been three championships in the last five years... What does this mean for Portuguese football? Is a hegemony beginning to be created?

"Last year, when I said goodbye here at Alvalade, I said that Sporting's structure was ready to win. And that is based on several pillars: our fans, the management, the players, in several areas. And now we are in a better place than we were a few years ago. We are building the foundations and, with some changes that will certainly be made, I think we have a very strong core here to be able to fight for everything again next year."

Luís Pedro Sousa: «Sporting was the team that responded best in key moments»

Is it easier to win with Gyökeres?

"It's easier to win with the whole group. Viktor had a whole team working with him, and he helped the team. It's extraordinary. He's clearly going to be one of the best players in the history of the Portuguese league, not just for Sporting. He's going to be remembered in the history of our football. He gave a lot to Sporting, to the team, just as the team gives him. He's clearly a very important player."

Who did you think of when the referee blew the whistle to end the game?

"I'll be honest. I already talked about this about 15 days ago. I thought about my grandfather. I have him tattooed on my arm. My grandparents have all died and I believe they are all happy up there wherever they are, proud of their grandson. I have my grandfather Zé Pedro [tattooed] because he is very special to me. I believe he is very happy for his grandson. I thought about my family, parents, sister, wife, son. The journey has been beautiful. In the last 15 days they have suffered a little because of everything that was the day-to-day life of Sporting, of Rui Borges the person. But, above all, they remained faithful, they know what Rui Borges is as a person. I think a lot about my grandfather and my family. The greatest trophy I can have in life is mine, the pride and recognition of the people who love me the most. From my city too. And I want to send a big hug to my city. I saw a lot of non-Sporting fans supporting Sporting, a lot indeed. And the affection they have shown me since I arrived "He has been phenomenal at Sporting. I am very proud to be from Mirandela. I am just Rui Borges, the boy from Mirandela who believed in a dream. I was not a great player, a great student, but I believed that I could be happy. I told an assistant of mine a while ago that it is difficult to stop when you are born to succeed in life. If I stopped being a coach tomorrow, I would be the happiest person in the world."

Rui Costa congratulates Sporting and admits: «More competent than us»

"When I received the offer, I said 'I have to go'. I came with an open heart. I worked hard, Rui knows that well. I'm grateful for the opportunity he gave me. Next year I'll come back much stronger than I am now and I'll help Sporting a lot.

It had to be that way. Unfortunately, due to the injuries, I think it gave the players a boost. I had to run for myself, for Nuno, for Simões, for Morten... Those who came off the bench gave their best. That gave us energy. They will be back at 100 percent for next season to achieve more."

"I have no words, it's fantastic to achieve this. It's my first title and my first title at Sporting. But I don't think we're done yet."

"I'm dead, dead! Marquis? I don't think I'm ready. I want to ask everyone to come out onto the street. It's going to be unique!"

"It's fantastic. I can't describe this feeling. This season has been incredible. It's a dream for me to be champion with Sporting. The fans... I couldn't imagine something like this. They told me that Sporting was a big family. And I can see it, it's a big family."

"Marquês? I've been told it would be the best day of my life. Nothing can compare. I'll be at Marquês!"

"A little tired, even though I'm not playing. My heart can't handle it up there. It's much worse. Not playing is harder. The important thing is that we managed to win the championship twice. We're part of the club's history. I want to come back and try to win the third title. It would be great. We have a fantastic group. Enjoying the second title and we have the Cup final at the weekend is a great goal.

Many adversities, injuries, change of coaches... Football is like that. What matters is that we reached the end and we are champions. For me it was a very difficult season because I am very ambitious and injuries are difficult for me to overcome. I am almost there. I am back in pre-season.

Let's go to Marquês, fill Marquês, the streets. Lisbon is green and white"

The Sporting party is already a little behind schedule. The bus, which was scheduled to leave for Marquês between 11pm and 11:30pm, is only expected to leave Alvalade at midnight.

"Very happy. We always work for these things. In the first final I played we lost on penalties, but I knew I had prepared for this. We worked hard all season, we suffered injuries to important players, but everyone stayed together. It was for us!"

"When I arrived, I knew what I was getting into. We all know that a really big team has to win titles. I felt that. Fortunately, we won the League, we deserved it because we were better than everyone else."

"A kiss to my family, they always accompany me. To all Uruguayans, I know they are very happy when they have players abroad who are champions"

"Marquês? I've never experienced it, but I've seen videos. Paulinho showed me a video. Now Pote and many others told me: 'now you'll see what Sporting is all about'. I want to go!"

A unique feeling for winning the championship twice and for being part of the club's history. The season we had... A season with many injuries, with changes of coaches, changes of directors... We knew it would be difficult. Being champion is already difficult, imagine being champion twice!

Cup Final?

Let's celebrate a lot, because we deserve it. But let's be ready to go after another title.

Is it special to know that you are part of Sporting's history?

It's an enormous happiness. It's a feeling I can't even explain. I'm very happy to be immortalized at the club. We were talking in the locker room about how this was an achievement that would make everyone eternal. I'm very happy, from the bottom of my heart.

Secret against adversity?

The secret was resilience, even in the most difficult moments and in the not-so-good phase. We continued to believe and fight. We managed to turn things around.

What is it like for you to celebrate 3 titles at Sporting?

It's unique. I've always believed that the most difficult moments in our lives are when we become stronger. My career has always been like this. I joined Sporting after 6 months of being out of the game at Rio Ave, but I knew my potential and I believed in myself. I found men of character, hard workers here. And an impeccable coaching team. We had a difficult year, with a lot of things happening. An atypical year. But we remained resilient and we are very deserving of winning the championship twice.

Was it the most complicated title of the 3 you have?

Of course. After three different coaches and many injuries... We've never been through that. It was the hardest [title], but that's what makes the achievement even more beautiful.

"A difficult, atypical season, with injuries, changes of coach. It wasn't a fantastic season, but it was a season in which we achieved our objective. Next week we have the Portuguese Cup. Rest today and then fight for other objectives."

What is it like to be watching from the outside?

"I'm a player with a difficult personality. Being up there in the box... I feel sad and frustrated not to be on the pitch. I've had some serious injuries but I know I'll come back stronger. Next pre-season I'll be back to help the team."

How is the recovery going?

"Almost 100%. I'll come back stronger and I just want Sporting fans to believe in this fantastic group we have."

Party at Marquês

"It's all very beautiful. That's what I passed on to my teammates, that when they didn't have the strength, they believed that we would experience this fantastic moment that we have to make the most of."

What was it like watching the game from the stands?

"Very difficult... I felt like when I'm not driving my car and so I don't have control. But it was a very mature performance by the Sporting team, I'm very proud"

What was it like lifting the cup?

“I've been waiting to lift the trophy for a long time. I thought about it during pre-season, it was almost a year always thinking about winning the championship and now I've won it."

Feeling after a season with injuries, coaching changes...

“A very special feeling. There were many difficulties off the field, it was difficult, it was tough, but the club showed the quality it has. In the end, we are the best team in Portugal."

"It feels really good. It was a very tough championship, we suffered a lot. Of the three I won, it was the best"

No one will forget the goal against Gil Vicente...?

No one will forget it! There are people out there who say it was the goal of the championship, but Viktor, at 40 or so, probably won't be happy..."

Now the party...

"Let's see how the party goes. It's going to be a very important party. Sporting fans have to be safe and obey the laws. Now it's time to party and drink. We're all going to get really drunk, maybe we'll only be okay on Wednesday."

Feeling?

“There are no words. It is an inexplicable feeling, a lot of time of work and many difficulties overcome. Now it is time to celebrate.”

When will you recover from your injury?

"That's up to the medical department, but everything is going well. I did what I could, I tried to help as much as possible, but the most important thing is that we are national champions."

Marquis:

“They say it’s inexplicable, but only those who are there know what it’s like. I believe it’s going to be a great party.”

What does the title taste like?

“It really feels like glory. Sacrifice, team effort, more than 10 months working together as a family. A tremendous pride in being two-time champions.”

Was the group's unity essential?

“Of course, the unity of the group, the staff, the families, everything. It’s incredible, an incredible group, a unique family and we are very happy today.”

Party at Marquês?

“It’s going to be amazing, I think even better than last season”

What role did you play as one of the captains in the most difficult moments?

"As we have a united group, it wasn't so much the captains. We helped each other. We worked to be together until the end and here is the fruit of that. Now it's time to enjoy it."

Party at the Marquis of Pombal:

"I think it will be even better this year after a difficult season."

Portuguese Cup Final:

"First it's celebrating, then it's the Cup."

The hug between Varandas and Borges

As he entered the pitch, the Mozambican heard the crowd chant the provocation “and it was Geny who f***ed them”

Geny entered with a special song

Funny moment: Trincão entered the pitch and went straight to his teammates' side, without passing by the medal delivery point. Alerted by his teammates, he went to collect the medal that belonged to him.

Trincão was almost left without a medal...
The moment Gyökeres was called

It couldn't be any other way, the Swede makes Alvalade explode with joy, as happened so many times when he scored.

Paulinho, Sporting's kit man, spoke again...

"I'm going to say something here in front of you all. There's no point in spending the whole week talking about Gyökeres going, Gyökeres going... Let's calm down, my friends! We're here to celebrate. This coach deserved to win this championship. Ruben Amorim is also involved in this, he also deserved it. João Pereira also deserved it. This championship was won with the three coaches. It's for the technical teams, for the coaches and for a person that no one should put down: Doctor Varandas! He managed to get the club back on its feet and no one else was able to do that.

Does this title have a different flavor than the others?

This is the same as everyone else. I'm very happy. Our president is a great president. He was the person who got the club up and running. And there's still more to come, don't worry, there are!

Will you convince Gyökeres to stay?

You know what I'm going to tell you, then? After the Cup game you're going to hear some good news. Okay? I don't lie. Last year you saw that I don't lie."

The national champion players are now being called up. Franco Israel, number 1, is the first to step onto the green carpet at Alvalade.

The former goalkeeper receives the trophy from the 'courier' Pedro Fernandes and takes it to the center of the pitch. Soon after, Frederico Varandas, the president of the Lions, appears.

"It's a feeling of pride. It's thanking all the people who are here and who have come here since the first game."

Is this a dream come true?

"Of course, playing with the Sporting jersey is fulfilling a dream in every game. It's about continuing to work like this because there's still next season."

How does it feel to have such an impact at such a young age?

"I've always worked hard to get here. They are my idols. Now it's time to keep going."

Did you imagine that you would get here so quickly and that, in your debut season, you would win the title?

"To be honest, no. But we worked towards it. If I'm on the team, I have to do the same role as them."

There are several players here who have already been to Marquês. What are you waiting for?

"Yesterday they showed me videos... Soon it will be me, I will be there living a dream. Last year, when they won the championship, I was in the pool... I already have videos, I will still put them on Instagram."

Where do you think you will get to?

"I can't see the long term, I have to work day by day. The most important thing is to be here and now I have to work every minute."

Don't you all want to get together and try to convince Viktor to stay at Sporting?

"That's Viktor's decision. We don't know if he'll leave or not, but what matters is that he managed to help us with a goal today. Now we move on to the next game, we still have a final to play."

How important is Ruben Amorim in this journey?

"I'm not even going to answer that... (laughs)".

Rui Silva: «It's a privilege to play for Sporting and I'm very happy»
The giant canvas in Alvalade to decorate the two-time champions

"It was a very important step for me and my career. I'm very happy with the way I was welcomed, with the affection of the fans. The way they've treated me... It's an indescribable feeling."

"I really wanted to win titles and, when I came here, it was with that intention. Being a two-time champion is, without a doubt, very important to make history for the club. We haven't reached this milestone for 72 years and we will make history forever. I'm very happy to be here."

What is the most positive moment of this journey?

"I don't know... I've lived incredible moments, it's difficult to single out one that's most important. But playing here at home with our fans and being able to celebrate this second championship was very important and beautiful."

Have you started saying goodbye to Gyökeres yet?

"We just have to enjoy it. There's still one more game to go. It's very important for us, it's given us a lot, it will continue to give us a lot and the most important thing now is for us all to celebrate together because we deserve it."

What are you expecting for the Cup? Is it for the double?

"Of course. Whoever is in this house has to aspire to win titles. This second championship was important. Now it's time to celebrate with our fans and then prepare for the Cup final."

"Without a doubt, it is a great source of pride for me to be national champion because it was a major goal in my career. I am very happy and now I want to enjoy it to the fullest with these fans and my teammates because we deserve it so much, after the work and sacrifice throughout the season."

Sporting fans are euphoric in the celebration of the second championship around Alvalade

While in Alvalade they wait for the trophy to be handed over, fans from various parts of the country celebrate the achievement of this title.

"We knew it was going to be a difficult game, a lot of anxiety. It's the details that make the difference. I think we played an excellent game at Luz, it was important"

What do you expect from the Marquis?

"Enjoy and make fans happy"

Paulinho celebrates with fans

It's the first time that Sporting has been champion with 3 different coaches in one season...

"It's always difficult, no matter what aspect or moment it is. The obstacles are part of the path and we have to know how to deal with them. I would like to send a big hug to João and Ruben, they are part of this victory and this championship. They worked hard for this and they deserve it. I would never look at this opportunity as a way to have problems. I looked at it with the greatest happiness in the world. The culmination of work from the bottom up. The greatest happiness I have is coaching Sporting. Would the problems that appeared ever stop our desire? I often say that it is difficult to stop someone who was born to win. And I won, and I continue to win every day."

Sporting haven't been champions twice for over 70 years. Now they've won the double?

"Now it's time to enjoy it and then we'll watch the Cup game. It's time to enjoy this happiness and joy that we deserve."

From Mirandela to the top of Portuguese football... You know what?

"I don't know, I can't even say... We've never looked at what football gives us in terms of money. We're lucky. It's really the happiness of doing what we love, the ambition to get here. I want to send a kiss to my parents, my wife, my son and family. My biggest wish was for my parents to feel proud of their son. Unfortunately, they're not here. It's an unbelievable group. People from other clubs wanting to support someone who's from the region. For me, it's the greatest trophy I could have. The recognition of those who suffered with us, fought with us. I'm just Rui Borges from Mirandela, a boy who believed in a dream and followed his path with merit, competence and hard work."

You made your debut here against Benfica. Since then, all this has happened. Was it what you had envisioned?

"Of course. Ever since I first spoke to the president, I really believed in it. It was the realisation of a dream, a path we had worked for. We got here through hard work, resilience. Through competence. A completely unknown technical team. I wasn't a great player, I didn't study. I'm just Rui Borges, they gave us opportunities through our work. It's the culmination of a dream and now it's time to lift our heads and move on. There's another trophy to fight for. It's a mix of emotions, but I couldn't be happier. And their happiness, above all, is what makes me happiest."

Was the script written? Was it a perfect final chapter?

"It's indescribable. I said, since the day I arrived here, and when I lost the League Cup, that it takes a lot of belief. That's the way the coaching team has been, always believing. It's the culmination of a lot of work, group and staff. Everyone in the structure, in the Academy, from the guys who work on the irrigation system, to the guys in the canteen, everyone. The security guards are fantastic. This group deserved a lot. They always believed, even in the face of all the difficulties. The group remained united, cohesive, believing. And the belief of this group could only end like this."
