Sao Paulo beats Grêmio in a comeback in the Brazilian Championship

São Paulo hosted Grêmio at MorumBis on Saturday night, the 17th, for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship. The São Paulo team won 2-1 with goals from Arboleda and André Silva. The Grêmio goal was scored by Aravena.

FIRST HALF

The São Paulo team started to put pressure on Grêmio during the first few minutes of the game, but were unable to open the scoring. Midfielder Marcos Antônio complained of pain in his left knee early in the game, at the 7th minute, and was replaced by Pablo Maia, who made a mistake when he misplaced a pass on the rebound from a corner kick, allowing the team from Rio Grande do Sul to counterattack.
