In five years, José Faria did everything he could for E. Amadora. He joined as assistant coach, then became youth development coordinator before rising to vice president. He later took on the role of sporting director, but stepped down from that role to fill the vacancy at the helm midway through last season. His success was measured by his tenure, which gave him continuity for 2025/26, but the project fell through early. In an interview with Record, José Faria reviews his time with the Tricolores and asserts that he didn't leave feeling hurt.
