Football: Hélder Brito takes over as president of O. Hospital

After two meetings without any “white smoke”, Oliveira do Hospital managed, this Monday, the day of its 87th anniversary, to overcome the impasse with the succession of Mário Brito as president. Hélder Brito was elected, unanimously, in a single list for the 2025/2027 term.

Some of the previous leaders will continue to serve in the governing bodies, such as the chairman of the General Assembly and former chairman of the board, Rui Monteiro, who will be replaced by the outgoing chairman of the board, Mário Brito.

"It's a list with some renewal but honoring the past. Above all, it's a list of people with a desire to achieve," the president-elect told DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS.

A list that, the director highlighted, “took care with parity, showing that O. Hospital is a different and modern club, because there are many women doing valuable work in training”.
