Carlo Ancelotti sentenced to one year in prison

Former Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, currently Brazil's national coach, was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of over 386,000 euros by the Spanish courts.

The case involves the concealment of part of the income from image rights, which has defrauded the Spanish tax authorities of more than one and a half million euros.

The trial began in April, and the Italian coach has always denied any intention of cheating financially.

Despite the conviction, Anceloti will not have to serve his sentence in prison, as it is less than two years.
