Brazil 3 x 1 Bulgaria VNL Numbers

Brazil 3 x 1 Bulgaria VNL Numbers

It wasn't an eye-catching performance, but Brazil is doing well in the 2025 Women's Volleyball Nations League. In Chiba, Japan, this Wednesday (9/6), they triumphed over Bulgaria by 3 sets to 1, in the opening of the third stage, putting them on track to qualify for the final phase, in Lodz (POL). Some Brazilian numbers are worth highlighting.

In her first match as a starter in the national team season, Rosamaria grew offensively during today's duel and led the team in scoring. Of the 18 points from the opposite, 17 were in attack, with 48% efficiency.

Another positive highlight was Julia Kudiess . The middle blocker came on late in the third set and showed why she's the best blocker in the VNL. In just one trip to the net, she scored three block points . She started the fourth set and finished with 11 hits, five of them on blocks.

Gabi, also starting a 2025 VNL game for the first time, still lacked optimal rhythm and struggled in attack. He had only 26% efficiency, with ten ground balls in 38 attempts.

On the Canadian side, outside hitter Aleksandra Milanova led the way with 21 points. Outside hitter Emileta Racheva was the underdog , suffering terribly under the Brazilian serve. Check out other stats provided by the FIVB:
