Botafogo fans taunt PSG and Inter Milan after victory

SÃO PAULO, 20 JUN (ANSA) – After the 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, Botafogo fans mocked the 5-0 defeat suffered by Inter Milan in the final of the last UEFA Champions League, won by the French club for the first time in history.

“It’s not easy, Botafogo is not Inter Milan”, sang the black and white fans at the Rose Bowl stadium, in Los Angeles, in the United States.

The victory left the Brazilian team alone at the top of Group B of the FIFA Club World Cup, with six points, while PSG is in second place, with three, as is Atlético de Madrid, who loses on tiebreaker criteria. Seattle Sounders is bottom of the group, with zero.

Inter Milan are also competing in the World Cup and drew 1-1 with Monterrey in their debut. In the next round, they will face Urawa Reds in Group E, which also includes River Plate.
