Algarve Swimming Association wins the 10th Xira Tournament

The Algarve Swimming Association ( ANALGARVE ) team won first place collectively in the prestigious 10th Xira Tournament, held on the 10th and 11th of May, in Vila Franca de Xira.
Composed of 31 athletes, the Algarve team demonstrated a high level of performance, achieving excellent individual results and establishing itself as one of the main forces in national swimming.
This collective victory is particularly noteworthy at an event attended by the best swimmers in Portugal, thus highlighting the quality of the work carried out daily by clubs in the Algarve region in favour of the sport and sport.
The team won nine gold medals, 14 silver medals and 11 bronze medals, totaling 34 medals.
The Algarve Swimming Association expresses «its recognition to the Lisbon Swimming Association, highlighting the excellent organization of the event, especially in the person of the president, Miguel Santos».
