Białystok haven't had a single slip-up in the Conference League so far. They picked up three points in their opening match against Hamrun, winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jesus Imaz. In the final round, Adrian Siemienic's side traveled to Strasbourg. The French side were clear favorites, but Jagiellonia managed to snatch a point on difficult ground, drawing 1-1.

The match against Strasbourg was Siemieniec's eighteenth consecutive unbeaten match in all competitions. Then came the league matches, and quite surprisingly, Jagiellonia lost both of them – first 1-2 away to Górnik Zabrze, and in the final round of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa they proved inferior to Raków Częstochowa, also losing 1-2. A temporary drop in form meant they dropped to third place in the league table, five points behind leaders Górnik.
The North Macedonian team has qualified for European competition for the first time in its history. In its debut at this level, Shkendija lost 2-0 to Thursday's opponents Lech Poznań, Rayo Vallecano. However, the final round saw a historic victory, as the Tetovo team defeated Irish side Shelbourne 1-0 at home.
