Vladimir celebrated Physical Culture Day

Last weekend, Vladimir hosted festive events dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture. The main events took place in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure.

The grand opening began at 14:00 on the main stage near the fountain. Representatives of the regional and city sports authorities made welcoming speeches. They congratulated everyone on the holiday, wished the athletes new victories, and physical education enthusiasts health and energy.

The event included awarding coaches and athletes. Svetlana Maksimova and Natalia Yaris received certificates of honor and titles for their contribution to the development of sports. Several athletes were also awarded the title of "Master of Sports of Russia".

Sports grounds awaited the guests of the festival: table tennis, chess, martial arts, trampolines and a GTO zone. For the first time, air hockey and cornhole tournaments were held, and even competitions in the game "Rock, Paper, Scissors" were held.
