Sochi Ends Losing Streak With Draw Against Dynamo Moscow


Football clubs Sochi and Moscow Dynamo played to a draw in the fourth round of the Russian Premier League. The meeting in Sochi at the Fisht stadium ended with a score of 1:1. This result allowed the home team to earn their first point in the current season of the championship after three defeats in a row.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 37th minute, with Dynamo midfielder Denis Makarov scoring a successful finish. Another goal by Makarov in this match was not counted. Sochi avoided defeat at the end of the match, managing to equalize the score.
After the game, Sochi defender Kirill Zaika told TASS that the team needs to get together and discuss the current situation. According to him, Sochi was lucky to get a point, and the main problems lie in defensive actions.
"We need to pull ourselves together and understand the situation we are in. The sooner we do this, the better," the footballer said.
Earlier, MK v Sochi wrote that FC Sochi remains an outsider in the RPL, having lost to Rubin 1:2 and not having scored any points in three rounds.
