Russian basketball stars visited Kursk Oblast on a working visit – the sports director of the Russian Basketball Federation, two-time Olympic bronze medalist Natalia Vodopyanova and the bronze medalist of the London Olympics, four-time Russian champion Sergey Monya. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports.

The renowned athletes held a master class for the students of the Dynamo Olympic Reserve Sports School and the Rusichi Basketball Club. Also during the visit, a meeting was held with the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein. The participants discussed the development of basketball in the region, support from the federation, and the future of Kursk Dynamo, where Natalia Vodopyanova played from 2010 to 2014 and with which she won the European Cup.
