More than 140 participants gathered in Stavropol for the regional championship in sports tourism

The regional championship in sports tourism on walking distances was held in Stavropol, the press service of the city administration reports.

More than 140 participants from Stavropol and Krasnodar regions, as well as Rostov region, gathered in the regional capital.

Pupils of the Sports Tourism Association of the Stavropol Palace of Children's Creativity won 9 silver medals.

Gleb Kokarev showed good preparation in the walking distance in the single competition. Together with Mikhail Abramenko, as part of a sports pair, the guys successfully completed the race in a rope.

The duet of Diana Ruslanova and Varvara Shapovalova also competed in this discipline. In the group competitions, medals were won by German Zagogulin, Gleb Kokarev, Varvara Shapovalova and Mikhail Medvedev.

Earlier it was reported that the regional stage of Zarnitsa 2.0 brought together 33 teams in Stavropol .
