Lokomotiv beat Sochi with a thumping score.

The Yaroslavl hockey club Lokomotiv claimed a decisive victory in the first game of their new home series. The victory was, like in the Chaif song, 5-0.
On September 22, Lokomotiv hosted HC Sochi. The visitors started the season quite strongly, unexpectedly beating several league title favorites.
But Lokomotiv didn’t give their southern guests a single chance on their home field.
The first goal was scored by Alexander Radulov, with assists from Bereglazov and Sergeev. Before the end of the first period, Alexander S. Volkov scored his first KHL goal.
In the second period, Radulov scored twice, with assists from Gernat and Elesin. In the third period, Alexander Radulov completed a hat trick, this time with help from Surin and Rafikov. Maxim Shalunov sealed the match, scoring a goal in a 4v4 attack "into the locker room" against the visitors. And Isaev recorded his first shutout of the season.
The opponent didn't give up the victory so easily. Sochi played tough, with plenty of body checks. Debutant Volkov was badly battered, and spectators even suspected a concussion. But coach Bob Hartley said nothing about the "young man's" condition.
The Yaroslavl team has every right to celebrate. Their next match is on Wednesday, September 24. The club will host their "sworn neighbor," Severstal Cherepovets.
