Raphinha spoke about Carlo Ancelotti's arrival at the Brazilian national team and came out in defense of the coaches who have recently taken charge of the green and yellow team. In an interview with ESPN, Raphinha praised Ancelotti and said he had already spoken to the coach a few times . This season, the Brazilian striker's Barcelona team has faced the Italian coach's Real Madrid four times and won all of the games.
"We talked a few times. A guy I admire a lot, his career, everything he achieved in football through his own merit, through the teams he coached. As a person, the times we talked, he is someone who taught me something good, about being a good person. A new cycle now, which has everything to work out," said the player.
Raphinha criticized the lack of time given to coaches in the Brazilian national team . He cited Fernando Diniz, Dorival Júnior and even interim Ramón Menezes, claiming that none of them had the necessary time to implement their work.
"We were on a good path, but unfortunately the results are often more important than the work . And we know how it is in the national team, there is no time to work and this ends up harming the coaches who arrive. Diniz himself, Dorival, even Ramon, did not have time to adapt. They have their own way of playing and it turns out that there is no time to implement it on a day-to-day basis due to the little work we have", said the player.
Carlo Ancelotti arrives in Brazil on May 26 , just as he announces the 23 players called up for the next two qualifiers - against Ecuador and Paraguay. Training begins the following week in São Paulo.
