António Salvador and Miguel Machado, presidents of Sp. Braga and the Board of Directors of SABSEG, respectively, were unanimous in launching the inclusive actions prepared for the duel between the Minho team and Benfica, scheduled for today, at the Municipal Stadium of Braga. SABSEG, a long-standing partner of the Minho club, is acting as a 'Match Day Sponsor' and promoting a day that goes far beyond the four lines. “Winning with everyone” is the desire of both leaders.
“It is a great source of pride to have a partner like SABSEG, which shares the same values as Sp. Braga. Inclusion is essential and this initiative is proof of that. Sp. Braga also invests in sharing, with the Braga Solidário project”, highlights the leader of the Minho emblem. Miguel Machado also reinforces this vision. “We will show once again that SABSEG is committed to equality. It is not talk, it is practice”, highlights the head of the insurance broker.
Recalling that “two teams with which SABSEG has commercial partnerships” will be on the pitch, Miguel Machado stresses that the company “shows that it cares about social responsibility”. António Salvador points out that the club is committed to the “social aspect and inclusion” and welcomes the event on the sidelines of the game that will “include several athletes with motor difficulties”.
Speaking about the 'AGARRA-TE' project and linking it to the event, Miguel Machado recalls that the company's policy is to see all people as “equal” and the aim is to “help” children and young people: “It's one of the many things we do in terms of social support. SABSEG doesn't just talk about it, it shows it.” Salvador associates the campaign's motto with equality: “To win we have to be together, concerned with inclusion.” Finally, Miguel Machado praises Sp. Braga. “It's a club that dignifies its city and has been an example in its development, stance and social responsibility.”
A partnership that is already adult
Sp. Braga and SABSEG celebrate 18 years of a solid and continuous partnership, thus reaching adulthood based on values such as inclusion, social responsibility and community involvement. At today's meeting, SABSEG assumes itself as 'Match Day Sponsor' and this contractual fact allows the brokerage to carry out several inclusive initiatives at the Braga Municipal Stadium. It is worth mentioning, as a curiosity, that SABSEG is also a commercial partner of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, thus reinforcing its commitment to sport.
Who sees colors, sees hearts
ColorADD joins SABSEG with two initiatives that promote awareness of color blindness. In the Fan Zone, fans will be able to participate in an interactive activity that invites everyone to paint using glasses that simulate the vision of a color blind person. Inside the stadium, five ambassadors of the 'AGARRA-TE' project will watch the game with the same glasses, being placed before a reality that affects more than 350 million people worldwide. Clara Pinto, ColorADD's director of partnership development, highlights the action: “Football and clubs have the power to take the legacy of inclusion much further. Color defines the 'heart' of the fan and at ColorADD we believe that the 'Power of Color' is for Everyone!”
Believing that “football is much more than a game”, Cristina Pinto says that this activity should be “seen as a communication platform with a strong power of social impact, where integration, inclusion and innovation must focus on diversity!” Note for the Sign Language and Audio Description activities that will take place during the game.
