F3: Tramnitz wins as MP Motorsport takes one-two in Imola

In a race with two yellow flags, Tramnitz, who started second after the grid inversion, overtook his teammate Del Pino to take the lead on the third lap. They were followed by Boya, Tsolov and Sharp.

The first yellow flag was caused by an incident with Nicola Mariangeli, who went off the track and ended up with a tire off his car. Shortly after the sprint resumed, there was another yellow flag: Zagazeta went off the track and got stuck in the gravel at Tamburello, which caused the safety car to be deployed.

At the restart, Tramnitz maintained the lead, followed by his teammate. Boya, with problems, dropped from third to fifth position and later retired from the race.

In the final laps, with DRS now enabled, Del Pino tried to attack his teammate, but Tramnitz held the lead and won the sprint race, followed by Del Pino and Tsolov.

Brazilian Rafael Câmara, championship leader and pole position holder for the main race, finished the race in 11th place.

The main race of the Emilia-Romagna GP takes place tomorrow at 3:30 am (Brasília time).
