Portimonense beats Scottish side Aberdeen in friendly match

The Algarve team defeated the fifth-placed team from the last edition of the Scottish League with two goals scored in the first half of the match, by Tamble Monteiro, in the fourth minute, and Douglas Grolli, in the 16th, on Sunday, July 6th.

Portimonense , 15th in the 2024/25 edition of the II Liga, heads into its second consecutive season in the second division, under the guidance of coach Tiago Fernandes, who succeeds Ricardo Pessoa.

The Portimão team, which has already secured a total of nine reinforcements this pre-season, will make its home debut against Penafiel, in a game scheduled for the weekend of August 9th and 10th.
