Neto blasts Ronaldo after talking about CBF: 'He likes money... off the field he's lousy'

Former player and TV Bandeirantes presenter, Craque Neto , made harsh criticisms of Ronaldo Fenômeno 's behavior. Neto took into account a statement made by Ronaldo about the CBF elections.

In an interview with the BandSports channel, the five-time world champion questioned the statute for the elections of the Brazilian Football Confederation. "If the statute doesn't change, this nonsense will continue. The page changes, but the book is the same. It's all the same old story," said the Phenomenon.

During the program "Apito Final" , on TV Bandeirantes, last Sunday, 18th, Neto contested the words of the former best player in the world.

"Do you really believe in the CBF? Reinaldo Carneiro (president of the São Paulo Football Federation) is coming in. I like him, but he was Marco Polo Del Nero's right-hand man. Ronaldo is the Phenomenon because he likes Brazil... Ronaldo likes money! Have you ever seen him give a political or social opinion? He was good on the field. Off the field, he's terrible. Off the field, he knows nothing. He knows how to do business," said Neto.

"He bought Cruzeiro for R$400 million and sold it for R$600 million. He made R$200 million. As a businessman, he's a monster. But how can I believe Ronaldo when he says they're all the same? You're friends with Ricardo Teixeira! You're friends with Andrés (Sanchez)... When did he criticize Ricardo Teixeira? Which one of them criticized (José Maria) Marin? Who talked about Rogério Caboclo? About Marco Polo Del Nero? When did they speak out politically about the things that happen at the CBF?", he asked.

Ronaldo Fenômeno showed interest in becoming president of the CBF at the beginning of the year, but withdrew. The former player did not find support among the federations. In the election of the entity scheduled for May 25, Ronaldo will not be a candidate for the position.
