Brazil finished the group stage of the Women's Copa América at the top of Group B. On Friday night (25), the National Team drew goalless against Colombia in a complicated game with a disadvantage on the field, as Lorena was sent off in the first half.

Star player Marta, who came on during the second half, said she knew the game would be like this. She praised the team's ability to maintain its style even with one player down and still nearly came away with the win.

"It was a tough game, we knew it would be like that. Unfortunately, we lost one of our players early in the game, but that's Brazil. No matter the difficulty, we didn't change our approach or style of play. From the start, we were looking for the win, but obviously the difficulties grew, due to having one player less. We tried and had chances," she said.

In the final stretch, the star player had to use her experience to calm her teammates. Yaya was hit in the eye by a ball and nearly left the game due to a vision problem. Marta reported that her teammate was nervous and had experienced a situation during the game.

"I've already been through what happened to Yaya. She was nervous, the ball hit her eye and she can't see well. Soon everything will be fine. I spoke to her, the doctor spoke to her too, the girls too. This is a game situation that happens, but everything will be fine and she won't get anything wrong," he highlighted.
