The only new face that Martín Anselmi is expected to introduce in the game that closes the championship is Pepê. The 28-year-old winger started the Invicta derby on the bench, but everything indicates that he will regain his starting place in the home match against Nacional, following the departure of Nehuén Pérez. With Eustáquio moving back to defense and Fábio Vieira to midfield, the Brazilian is the favorite to occupy one of the team's wings.
This is, moreover, Pepê's last chance to regain the trust of the Dragão court before the Club World Cup, as he is having his most modest season since arriving at FC Porto, having only participated in nine goals. In fact, the Brazilian, one of the most experienced in the squad, has not scored or assisted in 22 games.
