Football: Marialvas “ready” for Liga 3

South Korean Bruce Heo invested in Marialvas while still in the districts and, after remaining in the return to the Campeonato de Portugal, says that the club is ready to move up to Liga 3 and will try to do so “next season” with a renewed team.

The 5th place in series C of the Portuguese Championship is now in the past and in Cantanhede we look up the table.

The investor guarantees that the next season is already underway. “We have already signed some players. I would say that 50% of the squad will remain and we will look for some foreign players. I believe that we will form a very good team”, says Bruce Heo.

The 2025/2026 season will be marked by the club's new “home”. “Our president is preparing the best way to welcome people. Issues such as food and drinks, ticketing and merchandising, etc. The club is working in a very professional manner. Therefore, I believe that next season the fans will have a better experience than last, which is good”, he says.

And the fans are also a decisive factor for success. “At this level, the potential is huge too. They follow us to away games, they come to the stadium, they are interested…”, he explains.
