Ben Healy escaped to the “yellow” in the Tour de France

Ben Healy (EF Education-EasyPost) is the new yellow jersey of the 112th Tour de France, after being part of the day's breakaway in the 10th stage, won by the British rider Simon Yates (Visma-Lease a Bike). At 32 years of age, the Giro'2025 champion achieved his third stage victory in the “Tour” by distancing himself from his breakaway companions on the climb to Mont-Dore, the final point of the 165.3 kilometers from Ennezat, crossing the finish line in 4:20.05 hours ahead of the Dutchman Thymen Arensman (INEOS), second nine seconds behind, and Ben Healy, third 31. The Irishman from EF Education-Easy Post, winner of the sixth stage of this edition, became at the age of 24 the fourth cyclist from his country to wear the yellow jersey of the Tour de France, dethroning the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates), now second at 29 seconds, with the Belgian Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) closing the podium, 1.29 minutes behind.
Tomorrow, the peloton completes the first rest day of the 112th edition, returning to the road on Thursday, for 156.8 kilometers starting and finishing in Toulouse.
