Kamil Stoch's wife had been involved in helping Ukrainians to varying degrees since the beginning of the war. She sewed hats for soldiers, bought food, but also shovels, which were badly needed. She delivered over two thousand of them, as she confessed in a report on the "Układ Otwarty" channel.
"It turned out that shovels are very much needed in war and they can be organized quite easily. It is easy to get them and bring them here. It is hard to say how many shovels I brought here, because we have been transporting them for over a year. I think that in total we could have collected 2 thousand, maybe more," noted the woman, who has been passionate about photography for years, and in Ukraine she also took pictures of local soldiers, showing what was happening beyond our eastern border.
Ewa Bilan-Stoch took what was needed to the front. She will publish a bookIn March 2023, the woman joined Mateusz "Exten" Wodziński's team, which delivered off-road vehicles and other necessary products to the front, and some time ago she came up with the idea of publishing a book in which she would tell about the fate of Ukrainians. Ewa Bilan-Stoch plans to publish a book about the conflict in 2025, which she will describe from her own perspective. "In the book, I would like to document the entire creative process, the fate of these people and provide proof that Polish-Ukrainian friendship is possible," she said in a 2024 interview with Interia.
Recently, however, the woman did not hide her surprise that Poles no longer care about the fate of Ukrainians as much as they used to. "Currently, it has almost completely trickled down to Poles. There is even a tendency to be happy about what happened to Ukraine. I am not a spokesman for Ukrainians in Poland, but I want to be the voice of those people who are there on the front line and defend their country, giving their lives for it," she noted at the end of last year in an interview with Interia.
