Real Madrid firmly opposes Villarreal vs. Barça in Miami.

Real Madrid has issued a statement expressing its "strongest rejection" of the Villarreal-Barcelona matchday 17 match in Miami on December 20.
The Whites are criticizing a measure approved yesterday, Monday, by the Board of Directors of the Royal Spanish Football Federation "without prior information or consultation with the clubs participating in the competition." The club believes that it "violates the essential principle of territorial reciprocity that governs double-round league competitions (one match at home and the other at the opposing team's home), altering the competitive balance and granting an undue sporting advantage to the applicant clubs."
Chamartín states that "the integrity of the competition demands that all matches be played under the same conditions" and that a decision of this magnitude "jeopardizes the results" and "sets an unacceptable precedent that opens the door to exceptions based on interests other than strictly sporting ones."
Real Madrid is talking about a "before and after" in the world of football if UEFA and, ultimately, FIFA approve a decision the contenders are delighted with, and even try to encourage their fans to travel to Miami to watch the match, as is the case with Villarreal.
They explain in the text that a modification "of this nature" must have "the express and unanimous agreement of all clubs participating in the competition, in addition to strictly adhering to the national and international regulations governing the organization of official competitions."
In addition to the statement, Madrid has petitioned FIFA, UEFA, and the CSD to refuse the necessary permits for the aforementioned match to take place on international soil.
