Gustavo Ferraréis is confident that Atlas can make it to the Play-In

Atlas' Brazilian defender, Gustavo Ferraréis , assured this Monday that the red-and-black team faces a decisive week in the 2025 Apertura, with the firm intention of adding the six points that it will compete for against León and Chivas , results that could reactivate its aspirations of getting into the Play-In of the tournament.
After the defeat against Atlético de San Luis, Ferraréis acknowledged that the group has learned from their mistakes and is now focused on correcting their course . “We knew it would be a very difficult match against San Luis, but you always learn from defeats. It's good that it's happening now, because we have two finals ahead of us and we have to go out and win to get back in there,” the right-back expressed.
The first match will be this Wednesday against León at the Jalisco Stadium, a match the defender described as a true final. "With this match, we have to give our all for victory and ask for the support of the Fiel (the faithful) to come and support us always. We know that a full stadium pushes us forward and gives us more confidence," he stated.
Ferraréis emphasized that the fans' support will be crucial, especially ahead of next Saturday's Clásico Tapatío against Guadalajara at Akron Stadium. "When we win at home and have the fans' support, it makes us grow. We hope the stadium is full, because when they're with us, it helps us gain confidence on the field," he added.
The defender concluded with optimism, convinced that a good week can change the Red and Black's outlook: "Winning two games in a row puts you very close, because the table is very tight. If we achieve that, we'll surely be in or very close to the Play-In."
Atlas, which remains in contention for the final qualifying spots, will look to take advantage of its home advantage against León and close out its biggest rival strongly in a week that could determine the course of its tournament.
