Tour de France, Filippo Ganna is the first to retire

Filippo Ganna is the first rider to withdraw from the 2025 Tour de France, which starts today. The French race for the Italian rider from Ineos Grenadiers ended about 50 kilometers after the start, following a fall. Filippo Ganna was forced to withdraw following a bad fall suffered in the initial kilometers of the first stage of the Grande Boucle, the Lille - Lille of 184.9 kilometers. The Italian rider, after recovering two minutes of delay to rejoin the group, had to surrender to the physical pain resulting from the hard impact with the asphalt, leaving the already small Italian expedition.
