Artistic Gymnastics, triumph of Polisportiva Ghezzano, at the Italian UISP Championships

Pisa, June 16 – Triumph for the women's artistic gymnastics of the Ghezzano sports club, at the UISP national championships, second and third category, during the recent event in La Spezia. Three Italian titles on apparatus and two additional podiums represent an exceptional haul that rewards the commitment, perseverance and great technical preparation of the Ghezzano athletes and their tireless instructors. At the end of the event, president Riccardo Lorenzi thanked the entire team, led by the technical manager Luca Fiorentini , in charge of the instructors Giulia Battaglini, Martina Bertola, Luisa Filippelli, Alice Gori, Alice Moro, Alessia Sturlese and Greta Zhupaj.

THE RESULTS – In the second category , athletes Sharon Aslani, Arianna Lucchesi, Emma Marrucci and Irene Mascioli gave us great emotions: Sharon won a splendid second place on the uneven bars and a well-deserved third on the vault, Arianna and Emma climbed to the top step of the podium, first on the vault and first on the uneven bars respectively. Irene also performed well, demonstrating grit and determination. In the third category , the talented Martina Cesqui confirmed herself as Italian champion on the vault, repeating last year's success, an extraordinary feat that confirms her talent for this apparatus.

FINAL ESSAY – At the end of the competitive season, the appointment for the athletes and the invitation for all the girls who aspire to try this sport is for the end-of-year essay, which will be held on Saturday 21 June from 4 pm at the Ghezzano municipal complex, in via Sartori 28, in which the acrobatics, the elegance of the movements and, above all, the happiness of the young athletes will be the protagonists.
