Liverpool player Diogo Jota killed in a violent crash in Spain along with his brother

Spanish media reports say Diogo Jota, 28, has died in a road accident in Spain . The vehicle carrying the Liverpool player and his brother André reportedly left the road at around 1:30 a.m. before catching fire . The two young men did not survive despite emergency services responding .
An accident that occurred 10 days after her wedding
The tragedy occurred while the player was on vacation in Spain. Jota had only gotten married a few days earlier, and the couple had three children.
Arriving at Liverpool in 2020 after his notable stint at Wolverhampton, Diogo Jota had become one of the club's pillars. The striker had 49 caps and 14 goals for Portugal , and had just won the Premier League last season.
