Coach Franck Haise extends his contract with OGC Nice

After a sluggish transfer window and a difficult start to the season for Nice, this is reassuring news.
Franck Haise and OGC Nice have agreed on a two-year contract extension , until 2029. The coach arrived in the summer of 2024 from Lens.
After four years at Lorient (as reserve coach then as assistant to Sylvain Ripoll and Bernard Casoni) and seven at RCL, Haise continues on the path to stability.
This was one of the criteria that attracted the decision-makers in Nice when it came to replacing Francesco Farioli.
His assistants Lilian Nalis and Johann Ramaré have also extended their contracts."It happened very naturally. The discussions took less than a week (in August, editor's note)," explained OGC Nice president Fabrice Bocquet in an interview to be published this Friday evening on the Nice-Matin website.
"Building over time with Franck and Florian Maurice (the sporting director) is an excellent thing because before being good professionals, they are good people."
He added: "What interests us is to operate with common values, unity, resilience, integrity and to build our path by being extremely clear. When Franck arrived, compared to what was presented to him in terms of the project and today's reality, the only difference that exists is the reduction in TV rights , the extent of which no one could have predicted. On everything else, there is consistency in what was said."
