Tyrese Haliburton celebrates with stunning girlfriend and dad after NBA Finals heroics for Pacers

Published: | Updated:

A pumped-up Tyrese Haliburton celebrated with his girlfriend and dad at courtside after his latest piece of magic for the Indiana Pacers lit up the NBA Finals.

Haliburton, who has been inspirational for the Pacers as they eye a historic first championship, showcased his brilliance once again after running through for two genius layups in the space of 40 seconds against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

And after the second, girlfriend Jade Jones and dad John were in the perfect position to celebrate with him.

Television cameras captured the Pacers superstar heading over to an ecstatic Jade and John, who were sat just behind the basket, as they cheered his latest bucket in a heartwarming moment.

Should Haliburton and Indiana claim victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, they will move 3-1 ahead in the series and to within one win of the NBA title.

Tyrese and Jade, who have dated since their college days at Iowa State, celebrated six years together in April.

The guard's longtime girlfriend is dedicated to supporting her man across the country, having also made the trip to Paycom Center in Oklahoma City to cheer him on in the NBA Finals.

During Game 2, she was even seen clashing with rival fans in the stands as the Pacers suffered defeat on the night.

With the visitors down double digits at the time, Jones was captured in a heated exchange with a set of home fans.

As the cameras panned across the sea of Thunder blue, she was seen on her feet wildly gesturing to someone in the crowd.

While it is unclear what was said, the moment was visibly tense as Jones, a former Iowa State cheerleader, repeatedly jabbed her finger towards someone sat off camera and appeared to shout in their direction.

As for Haliburton's father, he was only granted permission to watch his son's games again last month after serving a ban following a shock altercation with a rival player at the end of April.

John clashed with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo after Indiana knocked Milwaukee out of the playoffs in the first round, having entered the court to taunt the 'Greek Freak.'

The pair later had a heated argument at the other end of the court, leading the Pacers to ban John from attending games 'for the foreseeable future.'

Just weeks later, however, the organization changed its stance and allowed John back in the building for their Eastern Conference Finals Game 4 clash against the New York Knicks.

He missed out on a total of eight Pacers games after his feud with Antetokounmpo, including five against the Cleveland Cavaliers and three against the Knicks.

Giannis told reporters that John had been saying on the night: 'This is what we do. This is what we effing do.''

'I feel like that's very, very disrespectful,' he added.

Tyrese admitted about his father: 'I don't think my pops was in the right.'
