Rossiter and Hegarty to remain in Wexford roles for 2026

Wexford senior hurling manager Keith Rossiter is set to stay at the helm for a third season in 2026.
It was confirmed at the August meeting of the Wexford county board that the Outlart-The Ballagh clubman would remain in the Model County’s hotseat.
This past season saw the Slaneysiders relegated to Division 1B of the Allianz League following two wins and four losses before failing to get out of the Leinster championship after defeats to Dublin and Galway.
Meanwhile, the same county board meeting saw John Hegarty’s tenure over Wexford’s senior footballers extended into a fourth year.
The Model men achieved promotion to Division 3 of the Allianz FL before losing the Division 4 final to Limerick at Croke Park and exiting the Tailteann Cup at its quarter-final stage to the Shannonsiders in mid-June.
Rossiter and Hegarty are set to be put forward for ratification to remain in charge for 2026 at the next meeting of the county board.
