Mohamed Salah reveals desperate desire driving Liverpool stars to title glory

Mo Salah revealed Liverpool’s big guns are desperate to enhance their legacy by winning another Premier League title.
The Reds put one hand on the trophy as they beat defending champions Manchester City to move 11 points clear of second-placed Arsenal yesterday.
Liverpool are now just 11 games from winning their first title since their 2019-20 triumph when the likes of Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson guided them to glory.
Salah said: “We need another title. Me and the big guys in the team, we need another title. Hopefully we keep calm because sometimes the pressure gets to us. We try to win each game."
The Reds star has now notched 30 goals in all competitions with 25 of those in the Premier League along with 16 assists. His 41 goal involvements is more goals than 10 Premier League teams have managed.
Reds full-back Andy Robertson said: “He is on a different world right now and playing out of his skin.”
Salah is firing Liverpool to their 20th league title but boss Arne Slot still urged caution despite the gap to the Gunners, who have a game in hand.
The Dutch boss said: “In every other league, having a lead like this would be very comfortable. Except for this one. Because this league every single game gives you a lot of challenges. Even Plymouth Argyle gave us a lot of challenges.”
Liverpool fans were singing about winning the title at full time after they watched their side win their first league game here since 2015.
City boss Pep Guardiola said it is Liverpool’s title to lose as they have lost just one game in the 27 they’ve played so far. Guardiola’s outfit have now lost eight league games this season as they face a fight to finish in the Champions League places.
But the City manager is still confident about where they are going and next term.
He said: “I saw a bright future. Other than Kevin [de Bruyne] and Nathan [Ake], they are the future of this club in the next years, with others who will come in future windows.”
