Matthijs de Ligt says he is happy with the players who have joined United since the end of last season.

Speaking to MUTV, he said: "I think they have made a really good impression.

"Bryan [Mbeumo] has only been here a few days, so we can't say too much about him, but he's already scored some goals during training.

"Matheus [Cunha] has been here for two weeks now and he's training really well. It's a new club and environment, but he's already been chatting and making jokes with team-mates.

"I think that's a really good adaptation from him. Diego [Leon] is a little bit younger, but he is also a player with a lot of talent.

"He is really strong and physical. He comes from a different system, so tactically he has to learn a little bit, but all the physical and tactical abilities are with him to become a really good player.

"It's been a really good window and hopefully they can help us as much as possible."

Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Alejandro Garnacho, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It is said that 'every detail' of his proposed contract has been locked in with that part of the deal considered done.

Talks at club level are still believed to be ongoing with United seeking around £50m in exchange for Garnacho.

Chelsea are reportedly trying to sign two more forwards with Xavi Simons also a target for the west Londoners.

Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly keen on a summer move to United with PSG on the brink of signing a new goalkeeper.

The reigning European champions are said to have agreed a £35m deal for Lille stopper Lucas Chevalier.

This could open the door for Donnarumma to leave the club with United thought to be keen.

Talks over a new deal at PSG have been going on for months but the Italian looks more likely to leave as things stand.

United might have to wait until next summer to sign Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, according to ESPN.

He is reportedly willing to stay at the Amex Stadium for another season, with a move considered more likely in a year's time.

Brighton have reportedly set an asking price of £104m and would prefer not to lose Baleba this summer.

His former club Lille would be entitled to receive 20 per cent of any transfer fee.

Benjamin Sesko will undergo a medical later today ahead of his proposed move to Old Trafford.

That's according to BBC Sport, who say that everything should be finalised over the coming days.

Sesko is already in England, having flown over yesterday to complete the formalities of the move.
