Sinner, Anisimova and Osaka advance to US Open semifinals

At the US Open, the season's final Grand Slam tennis tournament, Jannik Sinner advanced to the men's singles semifinals, along with Amanda Anisimova and Naomi Osaka in the women's singles. In the men's singles quarterfinals, No. 1 seed Sinner faced No. 10 seed Lorenzo Musetti of Italy.

Sinner defeated her opponent 3-0, 6-1, 6-4, 6-2, and advanced to the semifinals. In the women's singles, eighth-seeded Amanda Anisimova of the United States defeated the 2022 champion and second-seeded Iga Swiatek of Poland 2-0, 6-4, 6-3, and advanced to the semifinals.
