Yusuf Akçiçek, Mourinho's mentor at Fenerbahçe, has played just 183 minutes total this season. In contrast, Emirhan has played 316 minutes in the league. The Black and Whites aren't opposed to a 19-year-old like Yusuf receiving a national team call-up as an investment for the future. They're simply waiting for an explanation as to why Emirhan wasn't selected for the Crescent and Stars.
