A football match in Hamburg ended 66-0: 17 goals from a Turkish football player

In the 9th League football match played in Hamburg, Germany, the Mesopotamien 2 team beat Moorburg 66-0 on its field.
Mesopotamien 2 faced Moorburg at the Aussenmühle Sportpark in Hamburg's Harburg district. The Moorburg football team fielded seven players, including one woman.
Moorburg manager Patrick Stritzki also played in the match as some players on the player list did not attend the match.
Mesopotamian 2 scored the first goal in the 120th second, leading 32-0 at halftime. Turkish-born defender Ömer Yıldırım scored 17 goals in the match, which saw the home team win 66-0.
Speaking to the Shz.de website, Mesopotamien 2's coach Michel Aydoğdu stated that he had great respect for his opponent for fighting fairly until the end of the match.
Aydoğdu said that he offered to end the match early several times to his opponent, who took the field with seven players.
Moorburg club President Yvonne Petrich also stated that the referee asked the manager if they would abandon the match in the 10th minute, saying: "Our team definitely wanted to continue playing."
Mesopotamien 2 have won all nine of their league matches this season. However, with three points deducted, they remain in first place with 24 points and a goal difference of 119. Winless Moorburg are in last place with no points.
