Sochi residents won three medals at the Russian Weightlifting Championship

Sochi resident Darya Kitser distinguished herself at the Russian Weightlifting Championship. The competition was held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and brought together 192 athletes aged 15 to 23 from 53 regions of the country.

According to the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Region, Darya Kitser competed in the 59 kg junior weight category. She won silver in the snatch (82 kg), clean and jerk (102 kg) and the combined total (184 kg).
