A Samara athlete won three silver medals at a knife throwing tournament.

The Russian Championship in this discipline was held in Khabarovsk. The team from the 63rd region is also participating in the competition, according to the regional Ministry of Sport press service.

The tournament is held among regular athletes and athletes with musculoskeletal disabilities. A total of 400 people compete. Samara special operations veteran Maxim Medelyaev won a three-time silver medal.

"Congratulations on your excellent result! SVO veteran Dmitry Khudoshin also took part in the competition. Representatives of our region continue to compete in the championship and tournament. I wish you success," Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev wrote on his channel on "MAX."

Recently, it was reported that Sofia Novikova from Tolyatti won silver at a fencing tournament in Kazan.
