Youth announces the hiring of coach Cláudio Tencati

Juventude announced, this Tuesday (13), the hiring of coach Cláudio Tencati for the remainder of the season. He signs a contract until the end of the season after saying goodbye to Atlético-GO .

Tencati, 51, arrives to replace Fábio Matias, who was dismissed after the 5-0 defeat to Fortaleza last Saturday (10). Upon accepting the offer, he described it as "irrefusable" when leaving the Goiás club, which is playing in the Brazilian Série B.

The coach, who has worked for Londrina, Criciúma, Brasil de Pelotas and Vitória, arrives in Caxias do Sul this Wednesday (14) to be properly introduced and meet the squad, in addition to leading his first training session. Aléssio Antunes and Lucas Leme arrive as assistants.

"Welcome, Claudio Tencati! The new coach Jaconero arrives at Alfredo Jaconi to lead Juventude in the rest of the Série A of the Brazilian Championship. Good luck, professor! Let's work TOGETHER for the season's objectives", wrote the club from Rio Grande do Sul.

The Jaconero team appears in the relegation zone of the Brasileirão — it is in 18th place with seven points, two behind São Paulo, the first team above.
