Teresa Costa Macedo died at the age of 92

Teresa Costa Macedo was Secretary of State for the Family in the governments of Francisco Sá Carneiro (1980-1981) and Francisco Pinto Balsemão (1981 and 1981-1983).
Graduated in Philosophy from the Universidade Clássica de Lisboa, she was vice-president of the European Women's Union and member of the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union.
According to her biography on the Wikipedia portal, in September 1980, within the scope of the 1st Synod of the Family, she was “the only member of the world government to be invited to participate in it, following the invitation to collaborate with the Committee for the Family (current Pontifical Council for the Family)”.

He received the Grand Officer of the Order of Merit (June 10, 1992) and the Grand Cross of the Order of Infante D. Henrique (March 11, 2000).
