Renato Sanches is already in Athens

Midfielder Renato Sanches is already in Athens to reinforce Rui Vitória's Panathinaicos.

Speaking to journalists, the Portuguese international praised the club and the Portuguese coach.

"I'm very happy to be here. There are many reasons why I came, one of which is that I know Panathinaikos is a great team, a fantastic team. At the same time, the Panathinaikos coach was my first coach, so I'm happy to be here," he said.

Renato Sanches added: "The truth is that Panathinaikos is a great team. I came to help the team win titles, especially because Panathinaikos is one of the biggest clubs here in Greece. I come with the ambition to help the team."

The player was on loan from PSG to Benfica last season.
