PSG wins, but still doesn't convince

PSG achieved their second victory in as many matches in Ligue 1, beating Angers (1-0), in their first home match since winning the Champions League and the European Super Cup.
At the Parc des Princes, the four-time French champions prevailed with a goal from Spaniard Fabián Ruiz in the 50th minute, in a game in which Ousmane Dembélé missed a penalty, shooting over the bar in the 27th minute, following a foul by Marius Courcoul on João Neves.
After serving a two-match suspension following his sending-off in the Club World Cup final, lost to English side Chelsea in July in the United States, the Portuguese midfielder returned to the European champions' squad.
João Neves played until the 66th minute, when Gonçalo Ramos was introduced onto the field, while Nuno Mendes and Vitinha competed full-time for the Parisians.
PSG achieved their second consecutive victory by the smallest of margins in Ligue 1, after their triumph away to Nantes (1-0), coached by Portuguese Luís Castro, and provisionally isolated themselves in first place, with six points, against three from Angers, who are currently in eighth place.
