Oh Meu Deus test will be part of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc circuit in 2026

Oh Meu Deus test will be part of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc circuit in 2026

The Oh Meu Deus race, starting and finishing in Seia, in the Guarda district, will be the first Portuguese race to be part of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) circuit, the organization announced today.

The 15th edition of the race, organized since 2011 by Horizontes Turismo Desportivo, whose route follows trails in several municipalities in central Portugal, passing through the Serras da Estrela, Açor and Lousã, will be associated with the organization of the UTMB, being one of the races that gives access to the final, the UTMB, in Chamonix, in the 'mecca' of the sport.

"This integration into the UTMB World Series is the result of the collective and passionate work of our team, which over the years has established 'Oh Meu Deus' as a national benchmark event. This new stage represents not only international recognition but also the reinforcement of a growth trajectory that has always prioritized positive impact on communities and the region," said race director Paulo Garcia.
