Luís Oliveira is the new technical director of ABA

The management of the Aveiro Basketball Association (ABA), confirming the news previously reported by Diário de Aveiro, informed its affiliated clubs yesterday that Pedro Cura had ceased his duties as regional technical director. In the statement, the ABA also announced that his successor is Luís Oliveira, a coach who worked at Clube dos Galitos and joined the district organization as a coach three years ago. The president of the ABA, Bruno Fangueiro, justifies this change with the need to start a new cycle in the institution he leads. «At this moment we understand that it was necessary to have a change in the sports policy and to renew the technical staff of the ABA», justifies the leader from Aveiro.

Regarding the coaches who will take charge of the four ABA teams - Sub/14 and Sub/16 female and male -, Bruno Fangueiro says that this is a dossier on which no decision has yet been made.
