The big three won in the 14th round of the national champion phase for beginners and, therefore, everything remains equal at the top of the standings, with four rounds still to go until the end of the season.
In Alcochete, Sporting reacted to their defeat to Benfica in the last round and the Lions' performance was led by the duo Leonardo Damião and Martim Ribeiro, each with two goals against V.Guimarães. And Martim achieved the feat in just four minutes (17' and 20'), with an acrobatic first goal and another with a backheel. Pure class and talent, with Geovany Quenda and João Simões watching from the stands.
Leaders Benfica had no trouble thrashing Belenenses 5-1, with goals from João Silva, Tomás Pedrosa, Simão Lopes, Duarte Mendes and an own goal from Pedro Pacheco. As for FCPorto, they had a brace from Guilherme Moreira in the 3-1 win over Tondela.
