A little over a week ago, Ioannidis took a whirlwind trip to Lisbon, where he watched the derby at Alvalade and signed a contract with Sporting until 2030, before returning to Greece to join the national team. He therefore had a brief taste of what awaits him, so much so that he hasn't yet spent time with his new teammates in the locker room. Even so, he's always tried to stay connected to his new club.
