José Roxo leaves Académica for Santa Clara

17-year-old goalkeeper José Roxo has left Académica and will play for Santa Clara in the 1st Division. Students announced today the transfer of his sporting rights to the islanders, but did not specify the transfer fee.

“We inform you that the Associação Académica de Coimbra – OAF has reached an agreement with Santa Clara for the transfer of the sporting rights of the player José Roxo.
The Board thanks the player for his contribution and wishes him every success in this new stage, with the certainty that he will continue to honor the path he took at Académica.”
